Yeah, I'll leave the decision to the people that are actually familiar with the area. So whatever everyone comes up with, I'm cool with it.

The Lab in Multnomah Village has a real nice room, too bad they want a hundred bucks, however it's upstairs/private and you get your own server. Maybe when the group gets bigger. In the same hood, The Cider Mill has a lot of room in the back when there's no live music, plus wicked fried chicken/spuds and a full bar. Went to skool and used to be roomies w/Toby the owner. He's a nice kid, I try and throw him a bone on the rare occasion I leave my domicile for libations.

we've been in the same place at the same time at some point.

As much as I love my GLH from Cider Mill, I dunno that it'd be an appropriate venue.  Grub is good, beer is average, parking blows, and they can get pretty crowded at the drop of a hat.  Actually, last time I had my kayak at Cider Mill, someone managed to hit my car, and drove off.  Fortunately no yak damage, but, c'mon, how hard is it to not notice the 16' long orange hunk of plastic infront of your face?

I should be able to make it and any of the places mentioned sound good to me.  I have never been to Laughing Planet or Mickey Finn's, but I'm always ready for something new.

If ya wanted to hustle out my way, there is the McMenamin's Grand Lodge out in Forest Grove that has good food, good beer, and reasonable parking.  There is also Hagg Lake just 10 mins away for some fishing earlier in the day.  In the warmer summer days they usually have music playing out in the yard, and you can sit and eat, drink and just enjoy the evening air all while the kiddo's play in the grass.

And, again, the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse is just 2 blocks off Hwy 26.  This location would make the slog a little more palatable to our East side contingent.

As far as Hagg goes, we should make one of our summer PDX meet-ups a pot-luck BBQ at Hagg.  This would allow us to eat, drink, fish and brag till the sun goes down.

I live out here in BFE FG and made it several times to the Milwaukie Pietros, it's time folks come out to BFE FG.  :laughing7:
Cornelius Pass Roadhouse (aka RH1) is for engineers, yuppies and such (and you know it).  We don't wanna drag this crew into that kind of crowd.   ;D

Oh, come on now...despite external appearances they're both still McMenamins.

I'm Spot on this one, we should do something in your neck of the woods this summer at Hagg.

Since we missed the connection with a few of you last month, how about everyone wear their best fishin' hat...

So did we solidify the location for Thursday? I'm cool with some place west of town.
