If it's going to be a real small group this month, I suggest we don't limit ourselves to places with really big tables and mediocre beer.

Here are a couple suggestions...
Hopworks (SE Powell) http://www.hopworksbeer.com/
Luarelwood (NE Sandy) http://www.laurelwoodbrewpub.com/

but I'm open to others (as long as the beer is good).

Hop works is a great choice! How many are coming tonight? I do plan on joining tonight, however is anyone not coming because the are fishing instead? I kinda want to do both. Eitherway, should we plan on 7pm @ Hop works?

I have to admit, the call of the Springer will be keeping me away from the get together tonight.  Gotta keep at em while the the getting is good ;D

Seems to me you guys should be moving your meetup to the Cedar Oak ramp this month.  I have little league committments or I'd be chasing Pelagic's sled around OC tonight.  :)

Paddlers right. I will meet up with you guys after an evening springer session. I will still try and make it, but most likely late. Anyone want to meet up this afternoon on the willamette? Tight lines!

Jammer, I'd love to join you but I have to take my son to swimming lessons right about when I should be getting home from work.

Anyone up for some Willamette fishing on Friday?

Sounds like tonight's meeting is going to be me at Hopworks at 7pm with Jammer and The Nothing possibly showing up late.  Should we postpone to another time?

It's the second week of the month again.  Anyone up for a few beers and chat about kayak fishing this Thursday evening?

If so, where?

If it's a kid friendly environment, I can make it.

Well, I'd suggest APEX, which is the new beer garden across the street from my office, but definitely not kid friendly.

Grand Lodge in Forest Grove is kid friendly.  I'm not leaving town this week, as I only have Wed, Thurs and Friday to get my kayak trailer road worthy.  I'm almost there!   8)

I've thought about having it at APEX, but yeah, definitely not kid, dog, car, or credit card friendly.  But if you're a beer-geek fixed-gear bike riding hipster with a wad of cash... I hear it's pretty awesome.

Pinball.  Don't forget the pinball.  They have an ATM, and they knock $2 off of the next beer you buy if you use the ATM ($3 charge).  And Los Gordito's is next door, which means cheap, tasty tacos to go with your expensive Belgian beer.

July 8th is the next meetup...

the promotion I got back in March has made my attendance difficult, but I figured that, with my wife out of town, I should be able to more easily make it to this next meeting.

Where to this time?

The days are long.  Maybe we should meet out on the river after work for some smallmouth fishing.  Alternatively, it is summer now so we ought to think about doing a weekend meetup somewhere like Hagg Lake.

I game for either Hagg or Smallmouths on the Willamette.

On another note Wally had posted something last year about getting a little flotilla together for the 4th on the Willamette Not sure if that happened but any interest this year? Someone had also talked about putting lights inside the boats to light them up curious to see what that might look like with a half dozen or so boats. I'm thinking this is more of a family activity too.
