Allen...  Nice map of the area...  I bet the rock fishing in the islands was fun too...  Imagine them on light tackle when you get tired or Silvers and Halibut...  ROFL

The rockfishing got silly pretty quickly.  See the reef extending from the islands south?  We skirted the whole thing and it was pretty much constant action.  Anytime you got shallow there were rockfish.  When we were fishing for silvers, if you dropped too far down it was instant hookup.

And yes, bring the light tackle!!

Thirty Four Days and counting down....

Especially with these 100 plus temps here, going to be glad to cool off for a couple of weeks.

You gotta do what you gotta do.  In my case, I have to take care of my family.  With my newborn being so new, that means I need to stay close to home.  So it is with great regret that I have decided to not head north to Alaska for this trip.  Good thing I have Allen Bushnell and Yak Monkey covering my back.  Thanks Bros.

The good news ... well, I'm doing the October La Paz trip now.

Dang it Allen! Now I actually have to work when I'm down there..

Seriously, don't stress it. Besides, I have a special trip I'm cooking up for next season, and you're invited. That's just about the time you'll be recovered from sleep deprivation.

Everybody else.. three spots still left for the second week!

Gotcha covered, no worries.   ;D  Have fun times with the family.  Alaska isn't changing as fast as the little one.

I'm hearing whispers of a showing of 50-100# butts.  Rumors only, but the "Yak Twins" are coming back to port this afternoon, and hopefully they'll rush to the computer to put up a report!
