whats the thought of us trying to get a meet together say the 11th or 12th of Spet. at say my place for a potluck.
we could meet up at one of the lakes close by and then all meet up at one location a park or my back yard. WR should be back and maybe his work schedule he can join us to.

ok south sounders, squid girl tossed it out there..and nobody bit... maybe too early for you?? too close to the long holiday?? we're open to suggestions. it does not have to be immediately after this weekend, but i think we should have at least one meeting before the end of the month.
last year/ early this year, run by myself, SG, holtfisher and lee, we met at farrelli's in dupont cause that was a simple place to get to for both tacomans and oly -ites. it's also not that much of a reach for those of us on the East side of the military boundary..
other venue? different time? Spanaway at JRs Whistle stop?? Hawks Prairie Casino or The Ram in Lacey??
think it over, but i'd like to see my inbox start flooding with ideas within the next week.

I'm off Thur-Sat, so any of those nights and I should be good. I leave for New Zealand and Antarctica on the 24th for 30 days, so if it's within a few days of that I won't be able to get a kitchen pass from the wifey.

I'm just reluctant to commit to something with salmon season open. But you know me, I'll come along. Any way we could turn it into something fishy with some grilling after?

I like Lee's fishy/grill idea! Weekends are good for me as well.
Thanks for getting this ball rolling.

Well, SG had proposed something like that... a fishy meetup with a picnic or cook out afterwards
ideas in that direction are welcome... one caveat; NO Spanaway Lake. it's over loaded with jet skiers and riff raff...

Originally from Guam, now I'm technically in Spanaway. But, I'm right between Graham Frederickson and Spanaway.
