wow. drinks, dames, and disappearing acts on offer, with dogs and rabbit for bait. awesome.

Add to that a Cambodian midget named Hector, 4 teeners of homemade blow, and a stack of lightly used Nugget magazines.  Consider it a deposit on a non-camo model.  Much love.

You mean the Prowler Elite 4.5; still in NZ  :-\  It's pretty much the same as what we have here except for the improved transducer location/mount, flag mount hole, and brass inserts everywhere.

I was secretly hoping our resident OK reps would have some better news for us like the T13/15 are getting the same kinda design love...  I'm assuming we'll probably get the brass inserts and flag mount hole on ours, but thats probably it.

We'll have 3 yellow & 3 camo.

Will you have any of the options available too?

Naw that thing is garabage. I just want a 4.2 or 4.5 version of that 4.7 ultra.  I don't need 15 feet and 77lbs of boat.  I'd be perfectly happy with 14ft and 70lbs ;-)

I did some research on the OK NZ website trying to figure out why we don't have the Ultra 4.7 over here as part of the normal lineup and didn't discover much other than apparently the design and manufacturing facilities are based in NZ.  Was Ferndale, WA the only US plant before it was shuttered last year?  The only major disparity between their kayak line-up is with their fishing kayaks and an interesting solo/tandem boat called the Cabo.

77lbs may be darn heavy, but it looks like it may very well be worth its weight.  I agree a 13' or 14' version would rock (and a bit easier to handle).

Forget the offers of beer and women... I'd make someone straight up dissapear for you if you can get my hands on one of these.  >:D

I've got the gun and concrete, will travel.

need a heavily armed and armored escort?? >:D 6 of them will fit nice and snugly in an ICV, and we're street/ DOT legal. you'd just neeed to man the TC hatch.

I remember being excited when it launched in NZ, but quickly lost that excitement.  With the center, um, glove box, you end up with very limited access to the hull.  In fact, just the bow hatch gets you inside the kayak.

It is very capable in the surf though.

How much crap are putting in the hull in your current kayak?  I only put my cart, battery, and a spare cheapo pfd in my P13.  You could always cut the "tub" part out or the get the rod tube accessory if you're worried about rod storage.

This ^ the redesigned rodpod is one of the reasons I want this bad boy.  I love the idea of it being sealed off.  No more having your gear slide out of reach under your seat etc.  And the rod tube accessory is a sweet idea should make stowing rods clean and easy.

Here's the page for the pre-sell of the Prowler Ultra 4.7:

It looks like accessories will be available as well, but don't have full details on those yet.

I am excited.  I was going to purchase a T15 next month.  But this changed my mind.  My name is on the list for one of the yellow ones.
And this is my first post.  I have been in the background reading for about a year.  Thanks for all the great info.

Speaking of beer bribes---I have one bottle left of my stash of 1996 Thomas Hardy barleywine ale.    This is the gold standard, and 14 year's of mellowing has made it totally beyond words.  High-proof and smoooooth beyond belief, any takers???  Interesting swaps?  High bid???  This is the real "unobtanium"!
