I am planning on it right now.  From what I remember, we're needing to fend for ourselves in regards to accomodation.  Any idea where the bulk of the group is staying?

I'm most likely in.  Just gotta make sure my weekend is actually free - I keep double and triple booking myself.

I'll probably just stay in Portland and drive out that morning, although the State Park at Fort Stevens is pretty nice.

Nearby there's Fort Stevens CG, Kampers West, KOA, Pier 39 RV park, Cape Disappointment CG. I'm sure there's a few more spots that I'm missing. Due to how reservations are for that time of year I don't think there will be a camp HQ. If we wanted one we'd have to start planning in Jan.. We will have a HQ in front of Astoria Scuba on Pier 39 ad that's where most of this will go down.

I really wish I could make it but I am heading down south the week before, and have to work that weekend when I get back.

I am planning on going, got a spot at Kampers West. They have one full-hookup and a couple tent sites left, better hurry. Not much left around. Fort Stevens is booked solid, KOA is spendy but has space. Bud's has space, it is 25 minutes to pier 39.

Anyone else staying at Kampers? I think Dana is sharing my spot with me.

I was almost thinking about coming on Thursday and Pre-fishing friday but not decided yet.

I am tentatively planning on coming Thursday and either fishing the bay or somewhere else.  Yeah, lets BBQ friday!  I can bring whatever.

I don't have final approval worked out with my domestic advisor, but I'm hoping/planning on making it.  Given the lack of camping spots left in the area, I'm going to probably do this as a day trip for me on Saturday.  Hopefully that will leave another camping spot for someone else.
