Start your search on page two at the front of the site. There you'll find the basic "bsteves" anchor system that you can build yourself fairly inexpensively.

also, just use our search function and 'anchor trolley'. you'll find plenty of takes on that basic system that may work better for you.

Nice. Keep at it. You'll discover other good spots around the Kitsap Peninsula. It should just keep getting better and better. Sure there will be "off" days, but you'll find that the game just keeps expanding for you. More knowledge gained, more beaches discovered, and the learning of the tidal movements that each beach fishes best on. And you'll meet other fly anglers that will share info.
I love to cast flies off Puget Sound and Hood Canal beaches for cutts whenever I get the chance!

I have started fly fishing for those feisty SRC at lions park in bremerton.  Sorry if this is anyone's secret spot.  It does get its fair share of fly fishermen, but it also has its fair share of fish.  I was fooling around with Albright's 8ft 3wt, and got a hold of a couple small SRCs with some basic small shrimp patterns.  I just got my wife a 9ft 6wt tfo prof. Series with a lamson guru anniversary edition.  No fish caught on it today, but man is it a breeze to cast.  Can't wait for her to hook a rezzie or small black mouth on that thing.  See you guys on the water.
