Winter Pool Noodle Source?

I know its winter, I've been reminded several times by the helpful folks at the Dollar Store , but I really need some of the large diameter (4" I think) Pool Noodles for a project.  I have tried Freds, Dollar Store, and Bimart.  Anyone have an idea where I should look next for big diameter pool noodles (PDX area)?  I guess I could try online but would like to source local first if possible..

Sports Authority has them year round down here, but being in Hawaii might have something to do with that. Maybe check though, being chain stores it seems like they all have the same inventory wherever you are.

Might try Dick's Sporting Goods. They had the larger diameter this summer. Haven't been to their store for months but you might give them a call.

They had some big ones at Fisherman's over the summer and I second the Dicks idea.  Have you tried any pool supply stores?

Apparently, you get a deal when buying your noodles in bulk.

The Local Sports Authority or Big Five may have them, as well.

FYI, i walked over to Dick's in Hillsboro after work and they did not have any.

Best bet is Salvation Army, Goodwill, etc. I just picked up one a week ago for $1.29 plus an awesome kids fort made of dozens of foam interlocking parts ($5). Can't wait to figure out some cool uses for it.

I would think the best source would be a Pool / Spa SupplySstore.   They really don't have the seasonal based inventory to rotate off/on the sales floor like the large sporting / dept stores can.
 Even if they have them placed in the back,  I can't see them not going and getting you a few.

So far no dice..  three pool stores, Dicks, Walmart, Wholesale sports, Bimart, Freds, 2 Dollar stores.. Looks like the only option this time of year may be online.  Might be something for Next Adventure to consider stocking for the kayak crowd.  Thanks for the extra eyes out there..

Did you happen to ask any of the stores if they may have them stored in back somewhere?

Another couple of distant options to try would maybe check Toys R Us, a Party Supply store, Craft store, and maybe Home Depot.

One thing I've always thought might have some good use for kayak rigging is those yoga rollers. They can be spendy but may be some cheaper ones out there too.

That's funny, I deleted a picture of a 6+ inch wide yoga roller from the phone last night.  I took the picture at Dick's Sporting goods and was going to post it, then thought "meh, it's like $15, that's too expensive for hull fill"  But it's pretty sturdy stuff, and could be used for transducer installs too.
