Pretty cool....looking forward to fishing with Rudy.

Is that a official NWKA measuring device or just a sticker?  Where can you get these?

Cool article Rudy.
How big was was the king in the second picture?

Hahaha...sad to say, it wasn't even my fish!  I rarely have pics of my own fish since I fish alone most of the time.  But it was 25 pounds.  I took "the girl next door" from literally my k-12 days and it was her first king ever.  My biggest from a yak on 2011 was roughly 25 pounds and 36 inches.  Tiny by our standards.  Here's what I am hoping for...my biggest ever...but nearly two decades ago! I tell everyone my gandmother is like 6 ft tall and I'm a little taller...hahaha..NOT!

See the epic but long video here of my friend Greta's first ever sport caught king (she's a commercial fisherman!):

Super cool Rudy. What a great write up. Having kayak fished with you and Mark on the kenai last summer, I too can attest to your local knowledge of that amazing water and fish you target. You should give yourself a break this year and come join us at the ORC in June. I'm sure the others would agree. Just bring your favorite rock fishing pole, dry suit and teddy bear and well cover you on the rest. Congrats brother!
