Who's Going to the PDX Sportsmen's Show?
« on: February 07, 2012, 05:05:03 pm »
Howdy all! Who is attending the Portland Sportsmen's Show this week? Does anybody know if there will be any booths that have kayaking gear?
If you get a chance--stop by the Blaser Trailer Booth and say howdy Friday or Saturday. I am the big ugly guy with the mostly 'salt' hair that will be limping around repping the Cargomate Trailers.
BTW...I am building a 28" trailer right now with a small living quarters for a gentleman that is hauling kayaks. Should be pretty cool!

Next Adventure will have a booth for kayak fishing which will be staffed by members of both the Ocean Kayak and Hobie Pro staff (along with Next Adventure staff).

I am working Friday afternoon and all weekend.  If I can get out of the booth I will stop by, where are you?  The Next Adventure booths are in the 1,000 row of building E.

Well is was so crowded that you could hardly move. They did me a favor though they closed the parking lot so I parked at the race track and saved myself 8 bucks on parking. Took the Max for 2. As for my purchases i bought a new real for dropshoting this spring great buy for $15. 2, U-14 Kwikfish for salmon season and 2, U-20 for steelhead. Going to try and anchor at the mouth of the clack and do the wrap quickfish. I have never tried it but what the heck. I bought a pack of 5/0 hooks for Sturgeon and 2 bottles of scent. As Buggs Bunny would say "And that's All folks"!! I did stop by the NA both and say hi to Spot.

I have not attended this event before. Could someone give me a heads up on how much time I should plan on spending there if just interested in looking around, not necessarly buying anything. ?? Thanks in advance....
