St John's Sturgeon Fishing report Sunday 2/24
« on: March 03, 2008, 02:59:59 pm »
Rather than add put this at the bottom of six pages of preparation, I thought I'd just stick this up as a report. Late, but a report nonetheless. We fished from 7 to 3 and the tide was rising pretty much the whole time. Makes for a pretty slack current. CBY struck first with this little one

Then he did it again, but a little bigger

And another,,

and another little smaller one,

Brian about to take a nap

Then he woke up,,

We both dropped off to give him a hand and CBY was there for the assist and to help measure her (him). CBY's rope measure worked really well.

The wind laid down about 2 and we decided to pack it in. Good day on the water! Look forward to some more!

Thanks for the photos Wali. Glad to see you were able to recover them.

FFTW,

I love that first pose.
