Oh, man!  I am jealous...

7-5-18 was the most whales I've seen in one day at Depoe Bay.  At one point sitting just off the north reef at there were 3 whales within the reefs (bay), 2 more swimming in parallel just south of the south reef spouting exactly the same time, cruising north. 6 more behind them from Whale Cove headed north. 2 more out by the 1 mile bouy about 1/8th mile apart.  And 4 more north of the north reef toward Gov' Point.  And that was just what I counted turning around in my seat at one point.  The whales were everywhere and active. 

Had so many drive by's throughout the day it was hilarious hearing each other get the crap spooked out of them as a whale spouted within feet of us. 

I was able to capture these three pictures of a drive by that was close enough that Tanner (Lil Insayn) he could almost touch it.

cool pics all, bet little insayn`s still cleaning out inside of his drysuit? was out there too and yes could say same for the whales so cool to see but quite another to smell them.....soon after seeing would smell .....like this huge cloud of fart?? and than would quickly clear. had to be whale farts?

That's the whale breath. 
They eat a lot of krill and this tends to get funky in their breath and we get it when they surface and spout.

Do you....um....find a lot of turds after you fart ?

'cause - and I'm not judging, I'm just saying - those aren't farts, if you do.

back to flatulence, pin sometimes i do find turds after farting , at my age one never trust`s a fart. also farting is a prelude to a turd?. ok back to the whales, more whale pics please!
