(Report) Thursday the 28th Tillamook Bay redemption !

Ok started a thread for Thursday here’s who’s in so far for a 0700 ish launch.

I'm still trying to convince myself I can make it out there, haha. If I do, chances are I'd launch at Hobsonville Point and meet up with you guys on the water. What radio channel will you be on?

I'll probably launch at Hobsonville Point also, and monitering ch. 69.

Guess you guys don’t anticipate needing the fish cleaning station???

Should I manage to blunder into a fish, I'll drive on up to the cleaning station. Otherwise, I'll be out there playing with down/side/sonar imaging and fighting my tackle while enjoying a nice 1/2 day on the water.

Time to go review rigging/mooching herring vs just stuffing a chunk of [secret sauce] into a superbait vs large spinners; flashers vs dodgers; cannonballs vs bullet weights, etc. Haha.

FOR you Hobsonville Point launchers be advised there’s an RV and rattlecan flat black mini van of “questionable character ” parked in the big lot. No valuables left in your rig! Just heard from a reliable source!

Yeah, i saw that RV last week as well. By chance, after fishing (and launching from the normal spot at the cleaning station) i wanted to check out Hobsonville Point on my way home after i saw some bank anglers there earlier.
When i saw the RV i decided not to stop and continue my way home. The RV and some personal belongings put next to the RV did not look inviting at all.

See you all tomorrow. Lost a huge salmon at the kayak on the Columbia today so i need some fish to make up for it!!

WELL let’s just say the fishing was good and the catching was very lacking. Had a great day with 8 yaks on the water one last minute no show but a couple unexpected guys that left us with nobaddays and the snopro “that is”. Not even a take down for me and only one fish seen all morning in the ghosthole....... and it weren’t a PB  . I got some Nice OTW photos but it’s not my story to spoil, I’ll gladly post my photos if the lucky Yaker wants me too.
