Thanks in advance for all the info on here. Good stuff to have access to. Second winter living in Homer. Bought a 22' hewes last year and fished all winter/spring and summer. Had a ton of fun learning the water, boat, trolling, all there is to learn without any prior experience on the water. Anyway, sold my hewes a month ago-just couldn't justify the expense as I was 90% of the time going solo. I got me into a Hobie Outback and just finished rigging her up, including trailer. Been out 3 times now. No fish yet. Really just figuring out my systems--what I need in front of me and what I don't, tricks to keep body temp regulated, launching practice, etc. I've only been out one time and seen other yaks and would like to jump on the bandwagon with those who make plans to go out in duos or groups. I'd appreciate a hollar if you're headed out I may just show up and ask some questions. I'll bring the smoked king candy.   Cheers!

Your rig says you mean business! Look forward to seeing halibut and salmon laid across that deck!

Nice Outback!  You'll find some fishes - pretty sure we'll see lots of pictures of this yak.  Be safe, have fun, fish often.
