Thursday March 23rd H.O.W. event Fort Stevens Sate Park

The date is set as Thursday the 23 of March, the location is Fort Stevens State Park Coffenbury lake , were working toser if we can get the $5 day use fee waived . Start time will be 0900 so volunteers arrive st 0800 wrapping it up at 1500 with 8 seats to fill for participants. 8 volunteers would be great more even better, as our first 2017 event let's show the coastal communities "H.O.W." we roll. I will try to get a link to participant waivers and media waivers posted up so you can print and fill out at your convenience and hand to us when you show up in the morning. Of course we will have a bunch in hand as well. More to come as details roll in.

Mouth watering update for this event. MO's Cannon Beach will be hooking us up with a pot of there World famous Clam Chowder. 

Updated the time. 0900 to 1500 or 9:00am to 3:00pm for us civilians.

Put me down. I should be able to help out.  Sounds like fun.

Location is set Coffenbury lake Fort Stevens state park veterans showing up at 0900 so volunteers on the ground at 0800. ODFW will be stocking early that week so bite should be good. Volunteers list on original post will stay updated. There might be a $5 per vehicle day use fee but we're working with the park management to get that waived for our event.

This event is set up on Eventbrite and Facebook.  If you are interested in participating then please go to the eventbrite site and take one of the participants tickets.  If you are interested in volunteering then take one of the volunteer tickets (just a way of keeping track of who's planning on showing up).  The Eventbrite site is located here

With the ODFW scheduled to stock that week there should be some trout to be caught.
