I went fishing at the Spit yesterday, worked the short water, missed a few, most power boats were out past the green can. Lots of wildlife, a group of sea lions or seals kept buzzing the point.

Must've been something the critters were after out there.

The Harbormaster on Saturday said that whale has been out there all last week.  I suspect that the sea lions would push the kings off the bite. Happens on silvers in the Kenai every time seals start moving through chasing the cohos. Time to find a new spot away from their location.
