Meanwhile, this year's run of pink salmon, which mostly return to Washington's waters only in odd-numbered years, is expected to be about 80 percent lower than the 10-year average. About 1.15 million pink salmon are forecast to return to Puget Sound this year.

Not to worry.  They'll provide us with a limited season where we can retain one pink no larger than 22.375" every other Tuesday but only during outgoing tide from 4 pm thru 5 pm, see emergency rules......or your lawyer before heading out.   :-\

Has any heard predictions of the WA 17/18 season? I can't find any news updates on the process. Hopefully better than last year. Any updates?
