I've lived in Alaska my whole life, but travel to Florida nearly every year where I picked up kayak fishing.  I've caught many fish down there and after fishing down there, thought it might be fun to try it back at home in Alaska,  started researching it and found Rudy's youtube page and started following so I now have a kayak up here, and am looking forward to getting out up here this summer.  I'm actually really excited to try out WH or Deep Creek, Kayak still needs some upgrades but I still have some time before summer starts.  Tight lines everyone.

Welcome!! The season is just getting started with the best fishing for halibut kings coming up in late May.

Soon the location of choice will be cook inlet where currents run 5knts or better.  You cant fight it at its peak, so understanding the tide changes is critical.

Hope to be able to fish with you soon!! In the meantine, 99% of my internet research knowledge was garnered from the great people here.  Lets fish!!!
