A real man would have kissed that big ling on the lips!  You've tipped the scale and that area is next on my agenda list... With the Ferry in the picture it's pretty clear how close in you were, assuming it was loading. Nice fish and a pretty great day including weather.

Got the go ahead to do some fishing this Saturday and was excited to think about Edmonds until I looked the tides.  You guys had some great tide, but I'm thinking this would be a paddle fest between Edmonds and Whidbey with a 14 foot tide!

Ill be in new York for a few days leaving Friday I would love to get out, damn its supposed to be so nice too. The tide was actually surprisingly strong for so little of a shift. I normally don't look at the tides to much unless I'm fishing out at possession or the san juans. From my times out at Edmonds, I've never really had the tide at Edmonds move too swiftly. Under the ferry route is good structure and lings hanging in there. It would be hard to stay down with a ripping tide, you would have to be dropping 8 10 oz at least. We should get a session in one of these nights or weekends before the season closes. Poessession is really good and Edmonds. Even when ling closes we always have cabezon they ;like to chill in the same area.
