Pacific City 5/27/17

Forecast is far out but I am hoping to hit he salt again on the 27th. Hoping the ocean is less sporty than it was this Thursday. Need to go after the one that got away 

Me and my buddy will be there.  We met you down there last yr Zach.  We are actually going to try to head down Friday if we get off work early enough and possibly get a quick evening paddle in, then fish Saturday.  Let's hope conditions stay like it shows right now!

We might be game (I am).  Sunrise launch or do we get to sleep in this time?

I will be at Cape Lookout state park campground that weekend.  I have an orange camo Vibe seaghost 130.  I would love to go out on that day to fish.  The wife would be thrilled if i brought home some fish

If the weather holds I plan on being there at sunrise near 530 and launch near 6-615. Hoping to get off before any wind picks up. Should fish till 11-12

Zach, are you set on Saturday?  I just looked at MSW and its showing Saturday at 6 with 5.5ft swells at 9 seconds slowing to 4 foot at 9 seconds by noon.  That seems about what it was last time we were out but Monday is currently showing at half of that.  Just asking because Monday is Memorial day.

I'll be over there Saturday with my dad and brother. Hopefully it looks good and we'll launch. It looks like there will be a pretty big swing with the tides that day though. Do you think that's going to make for some big surf?

I am going to have to wait until the forecast is closer but the winds on Monday look terrible. I would rather have it slightly sporty than windy. Hopefully the swell calms for Saturday. I am planning on Saturday but may stay in Portland and go for sprinters if it is a no go.

I'd totally be game to stay in town if PC doesn't shape up closer to the end of the week if you don't mind some company.  I'm off for five days starting Thursday so I've got a whole bunch of yakkin and fishing to get done.

With the wind it is looking like Saturday is the best opportunity. Continuing to see how the forecast is but I am planning on sunrise launch at PC.

Me three!

We are heading there tomorrow night, so we don't have to leave at 2am Saturday.   Anybody know if they'll let you sleep in your truck at the parking lot or somewhere near by? 

The forecast for Saturday keeps getting worse. Sunday is looking like it is doable if we get out bright and early and off before the wind picks up.

Anyone up for Sunday?

However I bet the forecast will change more as we get closer haha
