I fished for largemouth for hours with no success, so I gave up for a little bit and got some fun footage of catching crappie. Hope you enjoy

Thanks for sharing, Casey.  Crappie are always fun, esp. on an ultralight. :)  Do you fly fish?
Kayaking without wearing a PFD is like drunk driving.  You can get away with it for a while, but eventually someone dies.

The pleasure is mine. It's a lot of fun to share videos, and see other people's videos! Great way to pass the time between fishing sessions!
I use those little 20 dollar ultralight rod reel combos for all kinds of fishing. They don't always last too long, but they're fun! That was my first time crappie fishing, it was a lot like night fishing for rock bass in the bay. Same exact gear and similar amount of action.
I haven't fly fished yet. It will be fun to learn someday soon hopefully.

You are SO addicted!!!   Word of advice, do not ever touch a fly rod or try tying your own flies.  ;D

Oh, and thanks for the entertaining crappie video?

Welcome to my back yard Casey! Its a good thing you didn't hit me up or else I would have had to show you where the fish are...  >:D

Nice batch of Crappie!
Better to keep ones mouth shut and presumed a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

Nice batch of Crappie!
I'm planning on trying it again this Saturday. Feel free to show me where the fish are at!
