Since I have time off — we planned to attend BCS III and pre-fish Friday — my daughter and I are looking for a central WA lake to camp and fish Thurs thru mid Friday and possibly into Saturday.

Conconully’s an option but a bit far.  Has anyone fished Lake Wenatchee or any smaller lake in that area?

Any other suggestions within 3 or so hours of the Redmond, WA area?

Thanks!

I'd take Conconully off your list. There is flooding in town and lots of debris in both lakes.

Fish Lake near Leavenworth has good trout and perch fishing.

Banks Lake and Potholes are both great options. Bass and walleye are both really turning on, and there are great options for camping - from primitive camping to RV camping. I fish Banks quite a bit, it’s in my backyard, so if you decide on that let me know before you come over and I can give you the latest intel on where to go and what to use.

Fish Lake it is!   We have a camp site at Wenatchee State Park.

Could you help let us know where the water access / launch is for Fish Lake?   There's nothing on the WDFW site.   Can we pay Cove Resort to use their access?

Thanks!

Rather windy today, and my daughter needs a bit more time on the Kraken to be comfortable in high country white caps...  so we’re just chillin’ at the campsite.  Hard to tell from the forecast if tomorrow will be safer.

Tuna, if you want to go as far as Moses lake there’s a launch right beside I-90 and a bridge. You launch right next to a bridge you can pass under to get to a wind free side regardless of force and direction. Good decision, good luck.
