I am not an organizer but can gladly point you toward those that organized the event last year if you wanted to help out. Why would you think there wouldn't be an ORC? If you're simply looking for the date, there is usually an official announcement in January or February.

There is a very good chance there is not any planning taking place 10 months in advance. Are you concerned there will not be an ORC in 2017? One has been planned and taken place(except when cancelled due to weather) every year since I believe 2007. Is that your main concern or is there something else?

The people that organized ORC last year was a mix of folks from NWKA and Next Adventure. I don't know if that will be the format for 2017, it in fact, it may not have even be decided yet. We're still fairly early to the party. I also don't think they owe us any public explanation of where they are in the planning process. There are a ton of details to hammer out, so let's be patient and give them the time to hammer out the details.

CJ from Next Adventure and bsteves, rawkfish, Craig, ndogg, and wobbler from NWKA organized last year, no idea if they're doing it again this year. If you just need a date you might send a PM to Brian or give CJ a call.

I'd suggest sending a PM to bsteves (Brian) with that question.

There will be an ORC.  Forgive me for not seeing this question in September. I, along with the others (I assume), have been really busy doing things that pay bills. I am lucky to get on this forum once every week or so, and when I do, I don't have time  to look at every post.  Basically if it ain't on the left side of the screen when I get on, odds are I won't see it.  That being said, it is the 10th anniversary of the ORC (if you count last year) and we have high hopes the weather will cooperate.
