Will be camping in Homer over the weekend, arriving Friday afternoon, departing Monday. The wife is bringing a friend so I am off the hook for all the tourista crap.  Will be hitting Homer and WG as much as possible. And maybe hit the Anchor or Deep Creek.  Would greatly appreciate some company.  Tight lines!

Michilutiiq and I will be down near Homer this weekend as well. Sadly, we've been slammed or the weathers been bad every time we've tried to fish this year so this will be our first weekend out on our Hobbies this year. We're planning to fish Homer, Anchor Point and/or WG depending on weather and tides. I'm sure we'll see you there!

Look forward to fishing with y'all.  Looks like late-morning slack/transitional tides, good for me, I can stay up late at the campfire. ;-)

Hopefully the forcast gets better. I hope to get back to the gulch this weekend. Will have to see what the forcast is later this week.

Not looking good so far...damn.  If it's no good, I'll leave the yak and focus on kings out of the Anchor or Deep Creek.

Not sure what my plans are.  Forecast is all over the board.  Won't know until we get closer.  Try the following link.  You can change the days with the slider bar down at the bottom.  In addition you can check the different forecasting models by clicking on different models in the lower right had part of the screen.  They definitely don't match up.

Forecasts are different each site I check.  Saturday maybe, Sunday mid-morning more likely.

Talked to a friend who is a deckhand on a Deep Creek Charter boat. They went out this morning (it was calm early) and caught three kings. Then the wind kicked in with a vengeance.

They're out there. If we can just get a break this weekend.

Right now Windy.com shows Whisky might be o.k. Saturday. If not that, the spit might work. I'm ready for a fresh king.
