 ;D

Now that the dust has settled a bit , I'd say it is time to post up some of our pictures.

Most of mine are kinda blurred for some reason...( operator error most likely) but I got a decent one of my little 5.9 lbs cabbie.  James that took this had a steadier hand than mine...... ::)

  edit
I'm surprised no one has mentioned my long-arming this picture  ::) ::) ::)
But it does look bigger/better this way.

Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

That it is Yaktastic but I put them on regular jig heads , but all my fish for ORC were nailed on the 4oz gold lancer jig I'm ordering a bunch of different colors on pay day.

The guy that caught the heaviest fish:

The guy that caught the not quite so heaviest fish:

The man that showed it ain't the size of the rod that matters, its how you use it-and winner of the Barbie side bet :

Here is a picture of the top ten contestants from right to left (1st thru 10th): Kenneth Dickens, Scott Brennaman, Tim Hofer, Chad Meengs,
Malcom Parker, James Case, Antione Doan's body double (sorry Antione, it's the best we could do for you), Jacob Koehler, Andy Wakeman, Justin Wesson

That is it for now.  I gotta finish my growler of Total Domination.

My first Cabbie!!  I hope there will be more women on the water besides Marie, Christine, Adrienne and myself next year.  I had to fish with my Barbie pole after the Cabbie broke the tip off my salmon slayer.  I used the Lancer jig that I got in the captain's bag to catch my fish.

I had a great time on the water and truly enjoyed fishing with Roy.   ;)

Dudi :-)

The moon on Thursday night looked pretty awesome as it rose over the trees.

As people have already mentioned, the whales were out in full force this weekend.  This was from Friday.

I got one of my classmates from Portland State hooked into kayak fishing this year.  This was his personal best kayak fish he picked up on Saturday.

It was an awesome year!  We couldn't have asked for better conditions.  I did NOT want to get off the water on Saturday.  Thanks to everyone for a great event!

I can't seem to get embedded images to work, so I'll just attach them.

1 & 2. My official entry cabezon. Ain't she pretty?

3. Christine chillin' at the potluck. No one should look that put together after getting up at 4am and fishing all day!

4. Christine's monster cab from PC the day after ORC.

5. Our haul from the 2 days. All fish put up, carc's saved for crab bait, near 100% utilization.

I didn't take any pictures, but I had my go pro running while on the water.  Here is my first very quickly edited video.  I will post the Kraken video once I have a chance to edit it.

Nate -- you damn near lost that pole when you got hit. Nice catch

Redbeards--- what a great haul of meat . Awesome

Jeff --- is that some of John's "radioactive chicken" ? I didn't get to try any this year ( had an upset stomach after puking all day so didn't eat Saturday nite)( Very rare for me-- but it happened)

To everyone else posting pictures -- great job........

Keep 'em coming folks --- I'm sure more are out there.
