Had on the water demos today after a light turnout for the seminar. Thanks to katinalaska for coming so I wasnt talking to myself. Lol.  We did sell a PA and commitments for several more so it turned out well I think.

We hung out in Homer to keep an eye out on the folks demo-ing the kayaks.  Turned out to be a lot of fun.

Pollock, yellowfin sole, sculpins and even a couple of 15 to 20 pound halibut.  The surprise fish was a arrowtooth flounder in 80ft of water.

We considered trying WG but we ran into AKTrapper who said conditions were less than ideal.  So we stayed.  I want a king but no complaints. Kept 2 decent halibut and release a dozen more small ones.

Looks like you had a really great day on the water on Saturday. Sun and flat seas always makes for nice photos. At least the first half of the day.

You made a first for me! Swim bladder in arrowtooth flounders??????  I was never aware that any of the sole family had bladders. Thanks for that education. Always something new to learn. Or was that just a weird tongue?
