Rudy and I were talking about this on the beach today. It seems that the Navionics is right and NOAA is off.  Today's tide was definitely not at 9:30. It seems that the good old paper tidebook was right.

We were lucky today. The weather was really nice. It was a bit swelly for the launch, but no real problem. The sun was out. The wind stayed down. The swell even died off by the time we landed. A pleasant day on the water.

The fishing wasn't spectacular. There were a few around though. I got a nice one while wrapping up my brief try at trolling. I kept it, then released a decent fish a little while later. I only released it because I wanted to keep fishing. Caught a couple more, but only ended up with the first fish.

Got to meet and fish with a new member of the tupperware fishing navy. Welcome to the club Cynthia. There were 10 or so folks out with their kayaks today.

If the weather is nice tomorrow I might go back down and troll for a couple hours.

Fishing in the boat was a little rough this morning. We bailed on halibut fishing and all hooked up on some good sized kings south of anchor point launch. Hooked some small halibut too while trolling. I think I'll be loading up the yak and hitting wg in the mornin for halibit. Hope to see y'all out there!

What were the kings hitting on. Might spend some time on that tomorrow.

It was great to see all the kayaks out on the water.  Fishing was slow for me but at least the weather was good in our little pocket of water.

I kept a single 10 pounder. The only real strike of the day. Others did much better. Starting to get a little frustrated with gear issues like not being able to find my gopro when I was sitting on it.  Hope its not the early signs of being senile.

Lots left in the season though
Just need to follow the primary advice I give to others and that is "perseverance pays!"

I'll probably show up down there sometime this weekend. I really haven't looked at tides, times, etc... Hope to see you down there.
