I've been hitting it from the beach the last few days.  Plenty of 3-4 lb resident coho have been taking flies.  Some ocean run coho around but I've had to put in time to find them.

Hunting and stalking has to be pretty fun on the fly. A stack of those eat pretty great and smoke even better. Nice job. Gotta be an early bite?

I actually don't have a favorite beach.  I hit spots from Foulweather Bluff to Restoration Point and pick the specific beach based on wind, the tides, and how much time I can spare.  I'll focus on beach fishing in MA9 until there are signs of ocean coho in MA10.  Even though we can't fish from from floating devices in MA9, I will mostly kayak to secluded beach to avoid crowds, especially on the weekends.

I've heard numerous reports of solid fishing but all from guys who fish on on the East side of MA10.  I'm sure they are around, just have to find them.  I'll give it a shot this weekend and let you know.

As far as the west side of MA 10 is concerned I had a tough time finding the fish this weekend.  Made a few trips lately out of Manchester down to Southworth and even the little resident jumpers seemed to have disappeared.

Hey Kitsap folk, looking for winter fishing advice.   What should I be going after?   Lakes or Salt...   Are Cuts the only game in the area Jan/Feb?
