How can we be sure you didn't mean "menage?"

I would suggest you save them in case you damage one of the turbo fins......a good back up in an emergency.    ;)

I started to agree with this, but they need to match the masts. You can't damage the fins and put the other fins on the same masts. DAMHIK. You can ask Mojo, he was there and came at me with a piece of pipe.

Yeah, you definitely want to hold onto those.  Folks never give away the original fins when they upgrade to the turbo fins.

My turbo fin kit came with new masts.  Don't they all?

They did in my case.

My point was, if you put the turbo masts and fins on, then only take the standard fins as a backup, you won't be able to mount them. You'll need to keep the old masts with the old fins in your repair kit under the hatch, along with a vise grips or other tools to change out the masts.

Since Mojo always has a 2' piece of pipe, and a vise grips on him, it was no problem. But what if he's not around ?

Oh, you're talking about on the water repairs.  Only Mojo would be prepared to re-plumb the kitchen sink  ;D  so point taken.

Dude, if I ever have a kayak break on the water, you're the person I hope to see pedaling in my direction.

Kayaking without wearing a PFD is like drunk driving.  You can get away with it for a while, but eventually someone dies.
