Hate to see another Slayer owner go, good luck wherever you're headed. If I hadn't just picked up another Slayer myself, this would be the perfect deal!  Someone is gonna be happy!

Fergy,
Sent you an email about the gear...would like to see it as I'm looking for a peddle drive. Also nice to have extra gear for when we get a HOW chapter up and running here in South Central AK...

Watch the tide book next week. Tuesday through Sunday has tides down to minus 5.3 for Seldovia and minus 5.1's for Deep Creek. 4-5 knot currents without the wind. Homer might be a better place to play but longer drive. Should be some monster bore tides in the Arm next week. Wonder if the SUPs will give it a try this early.

The edge of the ice on Kenai Lake at the outlet should be receding more with this great weather we are having. There was a kayaker with his dog out there paddling around a week ago.

I'm sure Fergy will be pleased to see your pics on the forum showing how well his baby is producing.

Thanks for the warning KK.

I hope Ferguson doesn't mind but I might have to rename the yak ...."Fergy" is not really my kind of music....

I just hope I have as much success as Ferguson had on it!

May go down stream from Rabbit Slough boat launch...no fishing now as it's closed but it would allow me to get used to the peddle drive and make any adjustments / repairs required prior to a Kenai run...may hunt up a few rats there as we need a few more to allow students to skin and flesh at our school...next month.
