We have some pretty strong winds along the South coast, forecast to stay through Monday night.  Be safe and have fun!
I expected the worst, but it was worse than I expected...

Wind forecast looks fantastic for saturday and deteriorates through the weekend but will probably fish well in the early morning and blow you off like last time we wen tout.  watch the early and extreme low tides and consider trying to get an abalone.

My mother in law is in town for my wife's birthday.  There is zero chance of me sneaking away.  Good luck!

It's starting to get to time to think about salmon in gold beach.

HMMMM.... the last few days the wind has laid low until around 10 AM, today it was blown out by 8 AM. By 10 AM I nearly got blown off of a ladder! Not user friendly at all today. And the Medford weather forecast "breezy" for the area today.
Keep posting here if you like and I can give you the day to day up until the weekend.
As it stands, the wind is going to be here as long as the sun comes out, when the foggy days of summer arrive, you can fish on glass all day long.

If you get to Gold Beach and the wind gets crappy, the springers are in the Rogue.
I expected the worst, but it was worse than I expected...
