I went out yesterday and the launch was easy. I started by the rock and had on a decent size fish that stripped a fair amount of line but I lost it. I then had another a short time later and it also got off then it really slowed down. I ended up landing a barely legal ling, a smallish black, and a cabby that went back I also dropped a crab pot and got three keeper crabs. it was pretty choppy the entire time I was out there and pretty windy most of the time. I tried fishing along the yellow buoy line and the wind and current kept me moving so much it was pretty much impossible to fish. Overall it was fun to be out for my first time in the ocean this year but way too slow on the bite but I guess I shouldn't complain since I got a nice variety of meat.

Thanks for the report.  It's awesome being able to hear what the forecasts say versus what it was really like.  Congrats on the fish.
Kayaking without wearing a PFD is like drunk driving.  You can get away with it for a while, but eventually someone dies.

Thanks for the report.   Fish and Crab in any form always taste better than Skunk  ;D  Way to get out there.
"A venturesome minority will always be eager to get off on their own,
and no obstacle should be placed in their path;
let them take risk, for God sake, let them get lost, sun burnt, stranded, drowned,
eaten by bears, buried alive under avalanches -
that is the right and privilege of any free American."
--Edward Abbey--
