Hello, new to the site and new to kayak fishing. I've always loved kayaking and fishing but never had a kayak I felt secure enough in to fish out of. Recently purchased an Outback and am ready to get out there. So if you need a fishing buddy here in the South Sound, let me know. I've really only been going for Ling's over at the south reef off of Blake island but would love to hit up La Push, Neah Bay, and learn about lake and river fishing. Fish on!

Hey VIKINGTTT! Brand new here too so glad to see others near my area. I've been feeling out my new hobie in lakes too but I'm itching to get out after fish I'd be excited to bring home. What lakes are mostly around you? I'm smack in between Spanaway and Kapowsin but won't take my hobie to the later. Maybe minus the mirage drive...
They might sound ill advised, but when I tell folks of my exploits, it's rare I don't find them smiling

Smart!  I've bent a few mirage drive rods in that lake!

Hey Paddle Ninja, I don't know how I missed your post. I'm out in Port Orchard so the only lake I've been on is Long Lake. I typically put in at Manchester docks or at the state park here in the sound but a few weeks ago, thanks to another user, jakeandrae, I got out to La Push. Brought home 6 black rock fish, 2 lingcod, and a cabezon. Feel free to message me if you plan on getting the kayak wet, though I'm almost always at work.

See, I missed your reply too Viking. I might have my settings wrong for alerts but I'll send you a PM and see if that works better for notifications. 🖒
Lee, I see you're a member of that Heros group. I actually got my PA from a member and I do have an ascend also that I'd be more than happy to lend for an event to give back to some vets! I'd even lend them both or bring anybody with balance/vertigo issues on my boat if they needed.
