So we are toying around with the idea of having a HOW-NOC event during this years TBKD.  This would be good time to get some folks into the bay to fish for bottomfish and salmon since there will be a good amount of people there and some powercrafts (jet-skis or powerboats) there for assistance if needed.
We want to know what all of your thoughts would be.  Would some of you be ok having a HOW participant following you around?

Let us know your thoughts and if you'd be ok with volunteering while on the water.  I'd like it to be one on one (one participant to one volunteer) if we do this so we'd need potentially 8 of you to step up to help us out on the water.

I am good with whatever is chosen. I will say that a lot of us (myself included) will probably be all over the place, trolling for salmon, perch fishing, dropping a crab pot or two, that could be a lot of paddling and effort for someone not used to kayaking, does that make sense? I don't mind changing my strategy if you decide to do an event, just something to keep in mind.

No problem Matt.
I could use some bass pointers.  I couldn't get a single one from the kayak last year.    >:(

I'll help if needed.

Another idea would be to have the HOW event the day before.  That would give people an excuse to come pre fish for the tournament

Being retired, they pay me when I go fishing, therefore I am kind of a professional fisherman.

Yeah, that was also part of the discussion.  Either day before or day after.
