Well, in a couple more years, I think I will be ready to start tiling my patio with these...

But in all seriousness, congrats again to Jeff, who scored the only kayak springer, and one of the very, very few salmon caught in T-Bay today. That would be an extra special fish for anyone. Way to make us proud!

I woulda placed higher if it weren't for that stupic "take them off the stringer before weighing" rule. Now Barb is gonna bring up those lousy 0.06# every time I see her, until next year. Dang.

That was a lot of fun! It was really fun exploring Tillamook bay for the first time while dragging my little brother around, but what was really great was hanging out with all these bad asses after the tournament! So many cool fun people! I learned a lot on and off the water. Thanks for putting on such a fun event, Mojo Jojo! Can't wait to do it again!

Thanks to Mojo and everyone else who put in time to pull off the event and to everyone who showed up anyway despite the forecast thunderstorms (which turned out to be the most beautiful part of the day).  It was fun meeting everyone and talking shop about fishing.  It was really cool seeing how everyone else was set up for yak fishing, too.  Lots of good ideas out there.
Kayaking without wearing a PFD is like drunk driving.  You can get away with it for a while, but eventually someone dies.

YippieKayak! Dang it! I was really hoping to put a face to the name! I meant to figure out who you were and say hello! Maybe we talked and I just didn't know that you were YippieKayak!

It was the guy grinning ear to ear does this help? After he cleaned up he was in the black dry fit shirt with all the muscles trying to split the seams.

I thought on the radio it said the salmon was caught by some guy from California that calls himself "Hollywood".

Shannon, looks like it was a great get together and another successful tourney. All your hard work and time paid off with a lot of fun for some good folks. Again good job. Art

Art part of that party was in your honor my friend, your brisket was absolutely fabulous and when your planning to come this way it's ok to stay here for a week or so (they hired a new electrician) we'll have to get another brisket and throw a big ass Fish-N-Chill in your honor. Might even get a bigger turn out if the timings right for PC fishing  :o

Mojo, we had a great time this weekend.  From the camping out Friday night with Sam and Mark to the fishing Sat.  Brandon is still talking about how much fun he had and how he out-fished his dad.  Geez, I'll hear about this for a while now.  Thanks again for all your hard work to put this event on.  We can't wait till next year!
It was good to talk to a lot of you that I hadn't met before (at least in person).
To everyone that brought food for the pot luck, thank you, it was all delicious.

Some pictures of bubbagrump

Time to upgrade my cooler to something more size appropriate. :)
