Registration up June 24th Nehalem River race/ H.O.W. N.O.C event

I might be up for a dry run to check out time and water depth. But I think 9:00 would be a great time to start. I'm old and need my sleep.Would also like to check out paddle verse peddle on a 5 mile run.

Keep an eye on the tides and we can totally do a pre run , 0800 low tide facilitates the 0600 launch, we will let you take a nap after 

Was thinking maybe 9:00 start for the trial run. And noon till 1:00 for my afternoon nap. All depends on tides.

If I'm feeling up to it and TLW doesn't have plans April 2nd looks like a good day to pull a trial run with a 1000 launch, bring your parking fee and we can meet up at the pullout and we might be able to get 3 additional yaks on my trailer. I know a pullout that is close to the finish line and don't require a fee 

Confirmed with Jay Vogal at the Manzanita Lighthouse Pub-N-Grub were all set for 1500hrs he will pull a permit to allow minors in for our event. We will have all you can eat pizza buffet ( in house and delicious DAMHIK) included for competitors and $10 for family and guests.
    This is a bar and drinks are the sole responsibility of each individual. I just ask that you remember this is a family event and drink responsibly.

Anyone going to make this event we need to get registrations and non participants numbers for the potluck in around the 17th so they can get enough supplies to feed a bunch of hungry yakers.
  We will also be inviting some HOW participants to salmon fish after the race so we're thinking 0900 to 1400 if you want to help a participant get into a salmon.

Now that I got the TBKD3 under my belt and cleaned my wife's car (before my early funeral) we need to get the numbers lined up for this event. Please register early if you can to make sure we have enough supplies for the all you can eat fresh pizza buffet. We need volunteers as well for the HOW NOC event.

Put me down for the race, ( paddling) And to help out with HOW. Paper work and check going out in the mail.

Been super interested in this tournament/fund raiser Shannon told me about it a few months ago. If anyone was wondering how far the paddle/peddle is, its about 8 miles for point A to B down below is a map I've marked with a path. There are some shallow points throughout it on certain sides so be care peddle guys, and paddle guys better drink a red bull or monster because its a hell of a paddle. If anyone wants help or needs a buddy to paddle/peddle with let me know I am more then happy to help out some newbies or vets. Being a 17 year old kayak angler with a passion for the sport so I have a lot of energy and I am not there to win but to help out and make everyone feel happy and know how amazing this community is:)

It's not quite that long as we're ending at the 101 bridge and have parking passes for everyone.

If we can't get enough interest in racing down stream we are still holding the HOW event 9-2 and we can still chill at the lighthouse for cost of food... but I need to know who's in and if just Fish-N-Chill or still wanting to race.

Mojo..Wish I could be there on the 24th, I have had a blast at the last 2 events.  Unfortunately I have to suffer at a golf tournament instead [emoji481]

Boy that is suffering hard.... unless you get to sit down range with a 12guage waiting for them to yell "four" so you can scan for the target.
