Looking like Sunday the 2nd Friday the 31st will be a 10:00 8:30 am launch for the tide to ride!
We will need at least two people to go since it's a long walk back to the drop in. Anyone interested post up and let's have a fun day on the water.

Updated lower tide and better weather  ;D

Wait... Is it a 8:30 launch or 10:00 launch.  Your post is a little cryptic.

Well since the 10:00 is crossed off I'd say it's 0830 and we will be meeting in Nehalem at the pullout (36005 7th St Nehalem, OR  97131) at 0730 to team up for vehicle shuttling. I can haul 3-4 guys and 3-4 extra yaks from the pullout to the drop in. (Since my boxes are out of my trailer) ;)

Strikethrough didn't come across via tapatalk. Hence your post was confusing. More-so than usual, I mean.

Once again tapatalk fails miserably, also why I don't use it  ;)

Hey I resemble that remark!

I'm also planning to come (and will get to test drive Mojo's big tuna). Weather looks like it'll cooperate. River will likely be around 9' (at Foss gauge), so high and possibly stained from the expected weds-thurs bump.

So we had a quite quick ride today with the fairly fast flow. We all managed to hook a great fighting submerged log, with lawyerbob limiting on those early. Boy do they put up a fight when your moving at 3-5 mph without peddling. The water was muddy to say the least. Lawyerbob found a kid size "us divers " mask and snorkel on our shore break that he intended on placing in a garbage receptacle like a good model citizen to which I was going to slap him in the ass with a boat paddle because my grandson is going to need it to learn how to free dive and put monster fish on my line for me  >:D  I dropped it in a bucket is dishsoap water and cleaned and put all my gear away. Cleaned the slime up pretty good, picture to come. Thanks Hdwipmonkey and lawyerbob it was fun if not productive. And I got a driver to drop us at the Wilson river loop drop in and park my ride at the fish cleaning station.
