Better hurry, it's happening during the eclipse.

It's close, the eclipse is on the 21st and I'll be sitting right under the totality of it just north of Salem.  Cloudy sky conditions could disappoint alot of people heading to the Oregon coast or Willamette valley to see it.

Just a little bumpity bump bump for all of those coming off of the post ORC high.... The Sunset bay AOTD is a fun and easy going tournament. If you liked the "Total bag" format of ORC you'll also like the AOTD format with points per inch. It's a great time, always some good prizes, fantastic food, and good company. Get your campsites fast if you haven't already, they are probably already booked.

Another update for camping in the area, I just checked the Sunset Bay campground and as I suspected, its full.  On a good note though, some of the hotels in the area still have rooms available.  If you're planning on going and haven't made your reservations yet you better hurry.

JUST A NOTE

Ocean Coho retention is closed.  We cannot keep a Coho of any size during AOTD.

(ODFW considers Sunset Bay as the open ocean)
I expected the worst, but it was worse than I expected...
