Hobie PA 12 for sale. 1500 missing the awesome Vantage chair and the rubber fins need to be replaced on the mirage drive. Vantage chair has been replaced with a homemade chair. It's a function over form type thing. Plus the price has been lowered because of it. It is in Seaside OR right now. No issues with it still fish out of it, just need to get rid of it. Pm me with more details if needed.

Caveat emptor: usually the reason that a Hobie pedal drive is for sale without the seat and the Mirage Drive is because the hull was stolen off the top of a vehicle or from a back yard by an individual who didn't realize or care that those items were missing.

Of course we could look at the fact the account was registered in 2011, and unless the picture was recently changed, the one in the profile looks amazingly close to the one for sale.

Watching for stolen items is very important, and I'm certainly not suggesting the NWKA shouldn't play a role in that.  But, dropping the theft bomb without some/any background feels a bit like a snap judgement even when the later is not the intent.  Jumping quickly for a number of reasons has created some unjustified/unnecessary ill-will.  Just suggesting folks can accomplish the same thing without taking off the gloves out of the gate.  This is not directed at any individual, just an observation. 

Now, back to the sale of the Hobie...
