Hello everyone. I have been looking at kayak fishing for several years and finally just decided to pull the trigger. I bought a new 2017 Hobie Outback from Alaska Raft and Kayak. They also referred me to this forum and I am totally grateful. Lots of great information. I am looking forward to meeting members of the Alaska Kayak fishing community and having an opportunity to learn and fish with you all. I am interested in all the many different types of ways to fish with my kayak. From floating the Kenai, to peddling across lower Skilak to Rainbow Alley, to offshore Halibut and Salmon fishing. I am still gearing up and at this point have no one to fish with, so hopefully I can meet up with some folks for a fun safe trip and make some new friends.
