2016 Slay Ride Derby?

I was wondering if there was a Slay Ride planned for October. I'll be in the area and planning my options.
Have never done it  before, but based on past threads it looks like a blast.

I was wondering the same thing?  Last year was an awesome time.   Hope there's a tournament there this year.

The regs say that Chum are keepers after the 15th of October.

I would also be interested in attending the "Slay Ride" this year.

I would be up for that. 

Last years slayride was my first salmon event out of my kayak, and it was a rodeo out there at hood canal. I would love to participate in this tournament again!!

There's been some hang ups due to date/venue availability. Will likely be the first part of Nov last I heard from Dino.

Fish should be piling into Oakland Bay now, and  trickling into Hoodsport. It typically doesn't peak until the end of Oct. Hoping to find time maybe next weekend. If I'm free when you're in town I'll happily join you. Chum fishing up there is insanely fun!

On a side note: I've not gotten a final word, and we're getting pretty late in the game... Will post if anything breaks. I kind of feel like it might turn into a money between friends throw down at best. Which would be pretty awesome IMO!
