Howdy! Just for fun I did a random drawing of AOTY competitors and the angler the fates chose was bb2fish!

bb2fish, I'm sending you a PM with your choice of 3 prizes. Congrats to you, and to everyone - keep on fishing!

Plenty of time left to earn points, and the Salmon Slam, in particular, is still very much up for grabs (top prize = custom salmon rod!).

WTH!  When does this get to be fair?!!   ;D  :D

Congratulations, Barb!  It couldn't have gone to a nicer person - unless it had been me.

I was just glad that it didn't choose me or my wife! :)

(because I didn't want it to look unfair)

I would like a full audit of the selection method as well as a double blind experiment done on it as well... Kidding of course!! Thanks for keeping the interest!! I need to start catching some more keeper fish for AOTY!

Hey now...fair and square I finally won something.  Good thing it is just random luck and doesn't depend on catching any fish.  Thanks Captain Redbeard and AOTY - I'm stoked.

Congrats, Barb!
probably get back into AOTY again next year, even though I only fish a few species. I really liked it when the approved fish were on the front page of the website. ...I don't envision placing on the main competition, it was just another cool place to brag about a decent fish. It's nice it's on the Facebook site, but it kinda comes and goes so quickly.
That being said,it looks like fun again. ..it know it's a great donation. Hope ya got a great prize, barb!

I hope you do participate again next year. If we keep the same format as this year you'd probably have a pretty decent shot at the Salmon Slam side-challenge. Top prize this year for that is a custom salmon rod!
