That is a seriously ugly boat.  And I suspect that it is pretty slow.

Supposedly, the idea is that it's a kickboat/kayak hybrid with a unique clam shell-like folding option.  I think it's an idea that was best left on the napkin it was first sketched.

I think the Point 65 Modular sit on tops are a better solution for compactness.

I bet it paddles no worse, if not better than an Outback.  My money would be on "better" since it is designed for paddling.
