It is NEVER too early to start planning...

Yes, I will be going in 2010.   ;D

Talked to my brother, and trying to get him and his soon to be 18 year old son, to come along and get away from work for a week or two.  Looking positive.

So Allen, first two weeks of August in Ketchikan?

Zee you gonna be able to make it, we need some Hobie's up there to represent.   ;D

Getting flack from Hobie rep for all the great pictures of me in a an OK and a WS!   :(

I tell him if he gets me a Hobie up there, I would prefer to use it, but you gotta fish with the kayak you have, not the kayak you want!

Looking at the last 2 weeks on August.

I know a stream that has some decent pinks left at the mouth.  But yes, fill 'er up with silvers and butts.  That shouldn't be a problem .. the only problem is getting ice out there to keep them fresh.

I was thinking about that...  Wonder if they have Dry Ice in Ketchikan...  I know the Safeway in Valdez did.

Gonna have to raft my heavy cooler out there I take it...

Yes, they do have dry ice in Ketchikan.  And the islands we stay on didn't have any bear sign last year.  There may be a way ...

I have a few trips that I'm planning for '10 but too early to tell if I can make this one.
