Sort of a report, or the precursor for future kayak salmon fishing reports. Anyways, this is awesome news! Forgive me if someone has already posted this up.  I didn't see it anywhere. 2019 is upposed to be good! Knock on wood.

Very exciting news! I hope to take full advantage of this. Ocean caught coho are so very tasty!

Even if that forecast is three times more than the actual fish numbers, it should make for a killer ocean coho season!  I might just have to buy a separate hatchery tag this year ;D.

Good thinking! I only had 7 salmon on my tag last year but I learned a lot and hopefully that number increases!

Do it.  The kayak salmon troller must always be the optimist  8).

My work schedule won't be quite as hectic this summer as it was last year, so I plan on trolling the snot outta Depoe for my salmon harvest.  I'll take a calm open-ocean troll over a bumper-boat estuary troll every day!

Indeed!

I was so excited to see this! I'll be chomping at the bit for opening day.

I find it cheaper to just catch all really big fish.  The freezer gets just as full and less tag spots are needed.  ;D

Sadly I have never successfully implemented that plan, but it is a good plan.
