They just called back.  30 caps at 0.4mg per cap is $48.change plus $4.50 shipping.  That's much more reasonable.  I'll be having my doc send the scrip to them.  Should have them in plenty of time for halibut season!

Thanks for the great info INSAYN and sumpNZ for bringing this topic up.

Like sumpNZ, I haven't found a solution that works for me or without nasty side effects. Last time I fished the ocean was about 5 years ago and gave up after puking and dry heaving with two patches on (2nd patch added the 2nd day). I'll try this out.

That sounds way more reasonable!

My doctor writes my script with a 1 refill for another 30 caps and there is a date I have to get them by.   So, I just go ahead and order the refill well before that date, end well before I run out of the original 30 caps.  Then I only keep a few trips worth in my match container, and the rest stay in the container and get sealed in a Food Saver bag to keep oxygen from reducing their effect before the next season.

I enlisted in the US Navy in 1960....was deathly sea sick and finally Benadryl saved me in 1962........100mg was the smallest dose back then. Now 50mg usually solves my inner rear issue and it does not make me sleepy.

MJ: No, Benadryl does not make me sleepy.....even with 200 mg that was the first dosage prescribed for me. I soon learned that 100mg was effective and that was, the smallest dosage, in capsule form 57 years ago.

I picked up my prescription today from Clark's compounding pharmacy in Bellevue, WA. The correct price is $42/30 0.4mg. I took one capsule to check for side-effects, and I had none the past 3 hours...no drowsiness, no cotton mouth, not loopy. The real test will be getting out to the ocean.
