One article on whether they are safe to eat...
I haven't seen any "official" comments as to whether there are issues with eating them or if any commercial fishermen are selling them.  If they are in the 10-lb range, and the salmon are farmed to be sold, unless someone is planning on having 305K pets, it seems a reasonable assumption that they are, or would soon be sellable/edible fish?  Seems like that's a likely size fillet I see in the stores.

It would be interesting to know the color of the meat if someone fillets one.  It seems wild salmon develop their red color because of what they eat in the wild and farm salmon get kind of red based on what their fed.

Well, mostly plaid with beards, they're hipster fish apparently.  A few of them still had a PBR in one fin.

This whole damn thing sounds a little fishy to me! If they really want them out if the water why can't WE start netting them?

Because nets are indiscriminate.

Pulling a native fish out my net and letting it go ain't no different then if I hooked it first, I didn't say "gill net"!
Im talking the big ring nets they use in Alaska  ;D

I think if we're gonna put money down, we should collect more ideas of what we're paying him to do while we watch and film.
