Got around to buying a new kayak that can handle a little bit more than perfectly calm water and I can finally feel like a real kayak angler. Gonna head out to Silverton Res this weekend and figure out the placement of gear and mounts I want on the new ride.

Anyone heard anything about the fishing up there?

My kid goes there a lot.  Trout fishing is ok. Typically they are deep.
