Saturday July 28th Garibaldi Day’s parade

HOWNOC will be having our trailer decked out behind Ray’s shiny new-used truck Monkeyfist’s truck for the parade. We want Vetrans to join us as well as any NWKA members willing to walk their fully (or semi) rigged kayaks on the route... from the train park across down town then around the ports RV park (about 8 short blocks) please post up if you can join even if you don’t want to pull your boat. Let’s make a strong presence.

I’ll let ya walk with one of mine so ya won’t need the 1 ton truck to pull it 

We were also asked to set up as a both after the parade behind the fish cleaning station. This will only work if I get at least 6 volunteers (8 would be ideal) willing to take turns giving information and  talk about HOW. No experience needed just need to be able to talk about what we do and kayak fishing in general.

Little bumpy bumpy for volunteers if the whole parade thing isn’t your cup of bait brine you can volunteer for the after booth only 
Needing 3-5 more body’s for the booth no experience required 

Come on guys help a chapter out! Garibaldi Days is like a street fair so you can bring the whole fam damily. Still need 3 guys.

Parade starts at 1100 so 1000 for that and 1200- 1400 for booth help(behind the fish cleaning station) 

I looked up the Garibaldi Days parade on the internet yesterday and it said that staging for the parade is at 8 to start lining up. Are we still okay being there at 10?

Ya for guys not toting a full float so give yourself time to set up whatever you have.
