I screwed up and bought a Sit on top kayak which it turns out I don’t like, my loss your gain. I spend just over $800 buck about a month ago.  I’m willing to sell for $625.00.

See image, it has the full name of you want to check it out.

Thanks,

It may aid in selling your kayak if potential buyers knew where you are located.

It sucks you aren't happy with your purchase and you are going to potentially lose money on the transaction, and I'm not at all trying to make a bad situation worse... However, this is the primary reason why we ALL say to visit your local kayak shop and request an on the water demonstration before you purchase.

Also, in any manufacturing/assembly process defects and problems can arise. Your local shop has a vested interest in customer satisfaction (they want repeat buyers) and they will help you should you require warranty/repair assistance from the manufacturer.

Good luck with your sale and hope you find another kayak that you end up happy with.

Were you not able to return it to Amazon? They have a pretty liberal return policy in most cases.

What works for some don’t work for others, in everything! What is the reason YOUR not happy with it, might help others determine if it’s something that they can live with?

O.K. lesson learned on the buying from a local shop...i won't be purchasing from Amazon.com again...dumb move!

What I don't like about it is that every little wave that comes by floods the back of the Kayak...i'm talking waves from wind (don't even get me started on wakes).   I have to sit in kayaks and i've had no issues with them.  I'm guessing this is because it's a 12.5 foot boat and i'm 6'2" 250lbs person....i guess i needed the bigger size but there was nothing listed about weight/height.  Again, that's why a local shop would have been a better option.

In regards to where i live...these are at Lake Goodwin, Stanwood, WA but I live in Woodinville so i can show someone this item at either location.

How is the tracking/ride in this thing other than the flooding of the rear deck? I miss my Ocean Kayak Malibu 2 (not xl) and plan on getting another one for diving someday. I saw these though and I like the built in pole holders and extras.
